DOS Emulator

DOSBox compiled to WebAssembly, running any DOS software from your browser. Powered by js-dos 6.22 by @caiiiycuk (MIT license). No plugin, no install.

How to run software
  1. The emulator boots to the DOSBox Z:\> prompt (built-in FreeDOS-like environment).
  2. Drag any ZIP file with .EXE/.COM/.BAT onto the emulator area.
  3. Or use the "Carica ZIP" button in the top toolbar.
  4. Type the executable name (e.g. DOOM.EXE) and press Enter.
Basic DOS commands
  • DIR — list files
  • CD nomedir — change directory
  • C: / D: — switch drive
  • TYPE file.txt — print file content
  • CLS — clear screen
  • HELP — list commands
  • EXIT — exit DOSBox shell

This emulator uses only open source components: DOSBox 0.74 (GPL-2.0) compiled to WebAssembly + js-dos 6.22 (MIT) as loader. No proprietary MS-DOS ROMs required — DOSBox implements its own DOS-compatible shell. Any commercial software you run is your responsibility (use only shareware/freeware/software you legally own).
